Freedom to teach means to understand human rights and allow all students to experience a quality and an equitable education.

Teachers that are self empowered will implement these liberties into the curriculum to enhance and engage life long learners that will make positive future changes in their communities. The freedom to teach will be utilized daily to catapult all students to reach their academic potential and work towards a safe and better tomorrow.

Freedom to Teach mean that I am given the reins and supported in using my content knowledge, my relationships with students, and resources I have created and curated in building a classroom community of inquiry, independent thought, and growth.

It means that I am recognized as the person in my classroom who can guide the young adults that I teach to being independent, questioning, responsible citizens of tomorrow.

Freedom to teach means that there is no pressure from a test determining my success as an educator.

I can use techniques to teach my students, and choose the topics that are of most interest to them, without worry that I will be punished if they are poor test-takers. Freedom to teach means I am respected as an expert and a professional who will do what is right and do my job to the absolute best of my ability.

The freedom to teach means that the teacher has the autonomy to prepare students for life beyond the classroom.

Currently, educators spend so much of their class time preparing for testing that they fail to prepare students for post-secondary life. Having the freedom to teach would ensure that we, as educators, prepare our students to become at least one of three Es: enrolled (in college or technical/trade-oriented programs) , enlisted (in a branch of our military) or employed, and after receiving adequate preparation, the students (and teachers) should feel EMPOWERED.

Freedom to teach means having a A school without walls, being able to change other people's lives without being scared for the punishment that one might give to you.

freedom to teach gives everyone the right to express their views in speech, writing, and through communication without fear of prosecution, unless the rights of others are violated. the most important thing in the world isn't money, but rather, having the freedom to teach and to enlighten the people with everything in the society. as these people are equally treated and served, no Special Treatment. Academic freedom would just simply mean that teachers having freedom to teach and students having freedom to learn without interference from within or from ideological conflicts outside the institution. Understanding the rights and responsibilities of teachers is essential in public discourse on academic freedom. This entry provides the historical background of the concept, its interpretation in the law, and current challenges. the way that teachers talk and instill knowledge would greatly affect the behaviour and views of the children. Therefore, if there's an Effective "Freedom to Teach" then there'd be an Effective future leader who will soon lead the country.

Freedom to teach means that I can focus on helping my students learn what they - where they are and who they are - need rather than having to focus on ticking off boxes to please some bureaucratic or non-educator vision of what they should do.

It means teaching, not testing for meaningless data. It means teaching, not being a pawn for political bragging rights. It means teaching, not being a guinea pig for misguided initiatives. It means teaching, not being afraid to stretch students' vision of the world and their place in it. It means learning, not just earning credits.
