About This Lesson
This is an incredible tool especial for our social isolation condition that David Lee has shared. He created the beautiful virtual world shell awaiting you to help your students display and share it with their world. He has already created a virtual Museum that is ready for displaying student world. It is navigational. It is in PowerPoint like many hyperdoc ( I think the best ones are in that format). He helped a science teacher with their display in this "space." It is amazing! I think that it should be on you go to folder for everything you create. It is easy to overlook as it is a tool to enhance other units. Virtual Museum Template created David Lee is editable as it is a movement that believes in that open and free access in education. I don't believe that education should be like Bette says of love in The Rose,'..only for the lucky and the few." Put it some place you have to look at it frequently or you'll forget and have trouble finding it!!! The possibilities are limited only by your creative imagination!
Enjoy!!
Especially during the times of simultaneously teaching with some of my students on Zoom and some in-person in my classroom, the use of the this literal virtual museum was exciting to use. I did have to add more slides for my larger classes, thus I followed the example and created my own. We are studying espionage, so we created a code museum with each child researching, creating videos, and then adding their link to their exhibit number. This saved me time and gave me inspiration. I used this with gifted 7th graders. Thanks.
