About This Lesson

Students will learn the origins of state and federal power in this 90-minute lesson. After note taking on delegated, reserved, and concurrent powers students will be able to give examples of each and then apply the ideas to a school community. Group work will produce posters that display what powers administration, teachers, and students have in a school. SEL skills development focuses on relationship skills.
